The House:

Velho Arvoredo (meaning Old Grove) is a restored farm house located high on the edge of the Sierras de Aire y Candeeiros, one of Portugal's 13 natural parks.

Thick stone walls are combined with a white-washed, modern interior that is both spacious and cosy.

The house accommodates eight people with four rooms, two with double beds and two with twin beds.

There is a large, well equipped kitchen, places to dine both inside and outside, a relaxing lounge and a barn for fun and games.

The gardens are home to olive, nut and fruit trees and at the back of the house is a terrace and pool with views over the rolling hills.

Come and see why we love it so much.
